Bardonia
Way back in the day, I was lucky enough to be employed by the legendary Electric Lady Studios, where I met Steve Mandel. Steve was a die-hard audiophile and had been a lyricist for years when I met him. He already had enough lyrics to fill many books, which he eventually did. I was writing a lot of music at the time, and we were a natural fit. Many after-hours sessions ensued, and many songs were written. We were always at the mercy of the studio schedule, which was merciless, but somehow we recorded dozens of songs while still doing our jobs. The first batch of these songs to become an album was named Bardonia, after a place in Steve's youth. Since then, we've compiled a few more albums of stuff and decided to call the whole thing Bardonia.
